The BRM Chesterfield Festival of Cricket returns to Queen’s Park this month, with five action-packed days of cricket between Derbyshire and Yorkshire. The festival will see the two sides meet under the crooked spire, first in a Vitality County Championship four-day fixture, starting on Sunday 30 June, and then a huge Vitality Blast T20 on Sunday 7 July.

Derbyshire will be showing their support for the LGBTQIA+ community throughout the Festival, by sporting Rainbow Laces, joining forces with the ECB and 17 other first-class counties to show that cricket is a sport for everyone.

An annual event, the Chesterfield Festival of Cricket is one of the most popular events in the county cricket calendar, with the iconic venue playing host to plenty of memorable moments over the years, from record-breaking performances, to last over wins, Queen’s Park has seen it all!

This year’s T20 fixture will also see the home debut of Pakistan internationally-renowned fast bowler, Mohammad Amir, in Derbyshire colours, fresh from starring for at the ICC T20 World Cup.

Tickets for both matches are on sale now at derbyshireccc.com. Adult T20 tickets start from just £28, with discounts available for groups of five adults or more.

Chesterfield Festival Passes, which includes entry to all five days of cricket at Queen’s Park, are available for just £49.

Queen’s Park is easily accessible by bus from various stops across Derbyshire and Yorkshire, with a max fare of £2 one way, and you can plan your journey to the Cricket festival at Stagecoach Bus. Whether you’re in Sheffield or Shirebrook, Bakewell or Barnsley, it’s easy to get yourself down to a day at the cricket in Chesterfield.

Chesterfield is also accessible by rail, timetables and routes can be found at East Midlands Railway. For those accessing the ground by road, ample pay and display parking is available around Queen’s Park, while there are also a number of car parks within the town, a short walking distance from the ground.
